I have heard Ewes say Akans are not good people; I have also heard Akans say Ewes are not good people. Tribes have always had internal superiority and regarded others to be of lesser value. In spite of all these fights over who is bad and who is better, I have come across the bible and read “…there is none righteous, no, not one.”Rom 3:10
All are bundled under the selfsame thing we seek to free ourselves from but accuse others of.
Maybe we should stop pointing the fingers and start getting right with God.
When the Bible says “all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”, all tribes and ethnic groups were included in the “all”.
I believe that unless we accept that we all have deadly stains of sin and implore the saving Blood of grace for a cleansing, we’d keep sticking out our sinful , wrinkly fingers to other sinful wretches who we label as worst than ourselves.
At the end, we’re all condemned as not good even if we lean on our self righteousness (Isiah 64:6,Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5-6). Stop the prejudice and get right with God.
‘we are all condemned” is a scary thing to say

We complain about racism but within we practice tribalism (CSD, 2018).
